FAQ

What makes Nakhrro prints different?

They’re not posters. These are archival pigment prints on museum-grade paper or canvas.

Will I see brushstroke detail?

Yes. Our scans capture every nuance of the original hand-painted work.

Paper or canvas—which one should I pick?

Paper is smooth and matte. Canvas has texture and depth. Both are archival.

How long will it last?

With proper care, 80–100 years. Trusted by museums worldwide.

Is framing available?

Yes. We offer framing in wood, metal, or fiber on request.

Sacred India Triptych is a set of three contemporary Indian art prints bringing together the visual language of Nandi, the Indian cow, temple architecture and Sanskrit sacred text.

Rather than treating spiritual imagery through elaborate ornamentation, the series reduces each composition to its essential forms. Nandi and the cow emerge through delicate tonal linework; a temple structure appears almost architectural in its restraint; Sanskrit verses become part of the visual composition rather than simply decorative text.

A muted palette of warm ivory, sage, deep oxblood and charcoal gives the series a distinctly contemporary character while retaining recognisable references to Indian sacred and architectural traditions. Small red geometric marks recur across the three works, visually connecting the compositions.

Designed as a triptych, the artworks can be displayed together as a set of three for greater architectural presence. The restrained palette makes the series especially suited to contemporary Indian homes, neutral interiors, entrance spaces, living rooms, passages and large feature walls.

For collectors looking for Indian spiritual art without heavily ornamental or conventional devotional imagery, this series offers a quieter interpretation of familiar cultural forms.
