FAQ

What makes Nakhrro prints different?

They’re not posters. These are archival pigment prints on museum-grade paper or canvas.

Will I see brushstroke detail?

Yes. Our scans capture every nuance of the original hand-painted work.

Paper or canvas—which one should I pick?

Paper is smooth and matte. Canvas has texture and depth. Both are archival.

How long will it last?

With proper care, 80–100 years. Trusted by museums worldwide.

Is framing available?

Yes. We offer framing in wood, metal, or fiber on request.

Six Mughal botanical miniatures, each a single flowering stem set within a patterned border, painted on a soft lavender-grey ground. Jasmine, lotus, rose, poppy, iris, and dahlia, six different specimens, six quiet studies in the same restrained palette. Together they compose a gallery wall that reads as considered rather than collected, a single design decision rather than six separate purchases.

Each painting follows the Mughal flora tradition refined for an entirely different palette register than the gold-ground miniatures the court is best known for. Here the ground is a muted dove grey-lavender, framed by a tri-band border in rust, cream, and deep teal-green, patterned with rosette and scallop motifs. The effect is closer to a botanical archive than an imperial album, precise and a little austere, which is exactly what gives the set its sophistication.

Produced as museum-grade archival prints on heavyweight 310 GSM cotton paper. Pigment inks rated for 100+ years of fade resistance. The fine detail in the petals, leaf veining, and border patterning holds at close range, the way the original miniatures reward unhurried looking.

Built for a living room, a formal seating area, or a dining wall with warm, low lighting. The lavender-rose palette is unusually versatile, it reads softly against olive, terracotta, and deep brown furnishings, and holds its own under a single picture light in a recessed or arched wall niche. Hung as a two-by-three grid, the set creates a calm, gallery-like presence above a sofa or console without requiring a large or stark wall.

Collectors and interior designers choose Mughal botanical sets in this tonal register when gold feels too rich for the room, but they still want the precision and pedigree of the tradition. It is Mughal flora rendered for a quieter, more contemporary interior.

Available in sizes from 8x12 to 30x40 inches per print, with all six prints in matched dimensions. Framing optional. Sold as a complete set of six.

FAQ

Is this a set of hand-painted Mughal miniatures or prints?
This is a curated set of six museum-grade archival prints of Mughal botanical miniatures. For hand-painted originals, write to the studio for current availability.

Where can I buy a Mughal botanical art set online?
Right here. Every print is produced in-house at Nakhrro on archival cotton paper, packed for archival pieces, and shipped from Jaipur with full tracking.

Is this from the Mughal flora tradition?
Yes. Each painting follows the Mughal botanical tradition of a single flowering specimen rendered with precision, here set on a lavender-grey ground rather than the gold ground more commonly associated with the genre.

Are all six prints supplied in matched sizes?
Yes. The set is supplied as six matched prints in identical dimensions. The size chosen at checkout applies to every print in the set.

Are these archival quality prints?
Yes. Each print is produced on 310 GSM cotton-based archival paper using pigment inks rated for 100+ years of fade resistance, the same standard used by museums and serious collectors.

Do the prints come framed?
Framing is offered as an add-on in select finishes. Choose framed or unframed at checkout. Unframed prints ship rolled in protective tubes. Matched framing across all six is recommended for the gallery wall effect.

Can I order this set in a larger size?
The set is available from 8x12 to 30x40 inches per print. For sizes beyond the listed range, custom sizing is available on request.

Can I buy fewer than six prints?
The set is curated as a complete six. Individual Mughal botanical prints in this palette are available separately when listed.

How should I arrange the gallery wall?
The set is designed to hang as a two-by-three or three-by-two grid. Spacing of two to three inches between frames reads cleanest. The studio is happy to advise on layout for your wall.

What materials are used?
310 GSM archival cotton paper and pigment-based inks. Framed versions use solid wood mouldings with acid-free mounting board. Anti-reflective glazing available on request.

How does shipping work?
Domestic India delivery takes 5 to 7 working days. International orders dispatched via FedEx with full tracking, packed with corner guards and moisture-resistant wrapping. The set ships in coordinated packaging.
