FAQ

What makes Nakhrro prints different?

They’re not posters. These are archival pigment prints on museum-grade paper or canvas.

Will I see brushstroke detail?

Yes. Our scans capture every nuance of the original hand-painted work.

Paper or canvas—which one should I pick?

Paper is smooth and matte. Canvas has texture and depth. Both are archival.

How long will it last?

With proper care, 80–100 years. Trusted by museums worldwide.

Is framing available?

Yes. We offer framing in wood, metal, or fiber on request.

Shri Shiva Panchayatana (The Assembly of Shiva) is an 1895 devotional chromolithograph issued by Chitrapriyaprakash Press in Bombay.

The composition presents Shiva in his domestic aspect: the ascetic god is seated on a tiger skin with Parvati beside him and young Ganesha on his lap. The sacred Ganga descends from Shiva’s matted locks, while Nandi and the lion anchor the lower register and two conch-blowing attendants announce the divine assembly. Its pale blue ground, balanced symmetry and finely rendered figures give this historic devotional image a strong, uncluttered presence.
