FAQ

What makes Nakhrro prints different?

They’re not posters. These are archival pigment prints on museum-grade paper or canvas.

Will I see brushstroke detail?

Yes. Our scans capture every nuance of the original hand-painted work.

Paper or canvas—which one should I pick?

Paper is smooth and matte. Canvas has texture and depth. Both are archival.

How long will it last?

With proper care, 80–100 years. Trusted by museums worldwide.

Is framing available?

Yes. We offer framing in wood, metal, or fiber on request.

Two Pichwai compositions designed as a pair. One in gold, one in silver. Krishna stands at the centre of each, profile turned, flute lifted, set against a dense flowering grove. The pair is built to hang together, with the colour difference doing the work of contrast on a long wall.

Both compositions follow the classical Pichwai treatment of Krishna in the Vrindavan grove. Stylised flowering trees stacked into the frame. Banana fronds at the edges. Parakeets and peacocks hidden in the foliage. Two cows beside the figure. Palace silhouettes drawn lightly into the background of each. The gold print reads as warmth and abundance. The silver reads as restraint and quiet. Together they hold tension and resolution on the same wall.

Produced as a pair of museum-grade archival prints on heavyweight 310 GSM cotton paper. Pigment inks rated for 100+ years of fade resistance. The fine stippled detail of the Pichwai composition is preserved with archival fidelity. No oversaturation, no commercial gloss. The prints read closer to hand-painted Pichwai than to reproductions.

Sized for a long living room wall. Designed to flank a console, sit above a dining sideboard, or anchor a foyer. The gold and silver pairing reads sharp against cream and linen interiors and adds richness to wood-led rooms. The vertical format suits high walls and gives the pair the breathing room it asks for.

Collectors and interior designers choose Pichwai pairs when one piece feels under-scaled and three pieces feel busy. Two compositions in opposing palettes do the work of a curated wall without becoming a gallery. The Pichwai language stays unmistakable. The placement reads decisive.

Available in sizes from 8x12 to 30x40 inches, with both prints in matched dimensions. Framing optional. Sold as a curated set of two.
