Paper or canvas—which one should I pick?
Paper is smooth and matte. Canvas has texture and depth. Both are archival.

No gods. No figures. Just a sacred forest breathing in the golden light of dusk.
This stunning Pichwai strips Vrindavan down to its essence — the landscape itself as a place of divine beauty.
Dense groves of banana palms, rounded flowering trees, and towering cypress fill every inch of the composition with extraordinary botanical detail. Peacocks — symbols of beauty, monsoon joy, and Krishna’s eternal presence — are perched throughout the canopy, their blue plumage the only hint of colour against the endless green.
Two symmetrical white Rajasthani pavilions sit nestled within the forest, their clean arches and geometric lines creating an elegant architectural contrast against the wild abundance surrounding them. Above, the sky transitions from warm peach and rose into soft blue — the fleeting magic of an Indian dusk.
This is Pichwai without a central deity — and that is exactly what makes it remarkable. In the Pushtimarg tradition, Vrindavan’s forests are not mere settings. They are sacred in themselves. Every tree, every peacock, every ray of evening light holds the memory of Krishna. The divine is present even when unseen.
For your home, this means something rare: a piece of art rooted in 400 years of Indian spiritual tradition that reads as a sophisticated, nature-forward landscape painting. No religious imagery to navigate. Just beauty, depth, and extraordinary craft.
Why this piece is extraordinary:
∙ Entirely non-religious composition — no deity or human figures, only peacocks and nature
∙ Perfect for living rooms, dining areas, offices, hotel lobbies, and hospitality spaces where religious art may not be appropriate
∙ The dense green palette is proven to create calm, reduce stress, and energise a room
∙ Symmetrical pavilions add refined architectural balance
∙ Warm sunset sky gives the piece a golden glow that changes beautifully with the light in your room
∙ Incredible detail — you will notice something new every time you look
Vastu significance:
Peacocks in Vastu ward off negativity and attract beauty and joy. Lush green landscapes promote growth, health, and prosperity. The warm sky adds balanced fire energy. Place on the north or east wall for best results.
